**GOOD BOY!**
[[Play.|Home]]"Good Morning, Jupiter! Are you ready for your morning walk? Maybe we'll finally make it all the way around the block today!"
A leash is clipped to your collar, and you are led out a big red door.
"Which way should we go today?"
[[Tug leash to the left.|Left]]
[[Tug leash to the right.|Right]]You pad along the sidewalk next to a pair of spotted rain boots. The air feels crisp as you as you reach the edge of a damp grass field. Flowers sprout from the ground in between groups of trees, and you try not to step on them as you [[continue|Lose7]] along. You pad along the sidewalk next to a pair of pink sneaker. The sun rests in a nest of clouds suspended in a bright blue sky. The pavement feels warm and welcoming on your paws as you [[continue|Cat]] on.You count the houses as they pass...3...4... The yard of number 5 is bursting at the seems with weeds. You think they look fun to play in, but you hear your owner scoff.
Out from the plants emerges a one-eyed tabby. You freeze in your tracks and feel your tail tense. That orange demon is always testing you.
[[Finally put that cat in its place.|Lose1]]
[[Swallow your pride... Your owner is tugging on your leash.|Good1]]"Okay, Jupiter. We can go down the [[sidewalk|SideWalk]] today, but remember to be a good boy! Try not to get too distracted.""Oh, so you want to go to the [[park|ParkWalk]] today? Okay, Jupiter, but remember to be a good boy! Try not to get too distracted."A large man waddles out to the sidewalk and scoops the cat into his arms. You don't know what he is saying, but your owner looks disappointed.
"You can't go around terroizing all the neighborhood cats, Jupiter."
A tug on you leash lets you know it's time to head home.
You look back to see a knowing smirk creep across the tabby's face.
"We'll try again [[tomorrow.|Home]]"Usually that cat would irritate you, but today you stood strong.
"Good boy, Jupiter! Don't let that grumpy cat get to you! Let's see if we can keep this up!"
You return your thoughts to the warm pavement and [[continue|Mailman]] on.You hear the sound of a sputtering engine growing louder as it comes up behind you. The truck stops on your right. You turn your head to look as a hurried man jumps out, his arms full of packages. An involuntary growl boils on your lips.
[[Let the man know that he shouldn't trespass on your neighbor's property.|Lose2]]
[[Mind your own business. What does a puppy even know about people stuff?|Good2]]"Jupiter, no!"
The disappointment in your owner's voice breaks your trance. You release your jaw from a khaki pant leg and look around. You see carboard boxes scattered around and look up to into a fearful face. Your head and tail drop. Your owner hands the man a package.
"I'm so sorry sir."
The tug on your leash tells you it's time to turn back.
"We'll try again [[tomorrow|Home]], Jupiter.""Good boy! Remember, that man is just doing his job! Without him, you wouldn't get any puppy treats from grandma! Let's keep going!"
You've never been this far before! You [[continue|Hydrant]] down the sidewalk, filled with pride as you turn the first corner.Just as you turn the corner you see a suspicious-looking object...bright yellow in color...taller than you, but not very tall...it seems to be leaking water at one end.
You want to see if it is alive or not, but at the sight of it you are suddenly overwhelmed with the need to pee.
[[Walk over to it and relieve yourself, though its siren-like qualities seem suspicious.|Good3]]
[[Talk to it to see if it will respond.|Lose3]]You leap at the yellow object, and your owner loses her footing. She doesn't fall but lets out a panicked "Jupiter, shhh!"
"No barking right now! It's still early for some of our neighbors!"
You look to your left and see an old woman peeking out her front door and shaking her head.
"Let's head back before we wake anyone else. We'll try again [[tomorrow.|Home]]"You tug on your leash, and your owner follows you up to the object.
You raise your leg even though it feels involuntary, and you feel much better.
"Good boy, Jupiter! That fire hydrant is great for peeing! They're supposed to be for fires, but I've never seen one in working order."
You're not quiet sure what she means by this, but she sounds proud so you [[continue|Mailman2]] on.You continue along the pavement until you reach the next corner. As you turn to the right you see the same truck. You feel your face get hot at first, but remember what your owner said about the treats.
This time the man has little packages that fit in his hands. As the man is walking one slips out of his hand onto the sidewalk in front of you.
You've seen these on your owner's desk, so it must be important.
[[You know your owner doesn't want you to bark, but you don't think the man knows he dropped it...|Good4]]
[[Maybe you should investigate the package to see what is inside.|Lose4]]You reach your paws forward and scratch at the little package. It tears open, but you remember you can't read...
"Oh, Jupiter, no! We can't open other people's mail!"
The mailman turns around at the sound of your owner's voice and notices the damage.
"I'm really sorry, sir. He's still learning."
"Come on Jupiter. We'll try again [[tomorrow.|Home]]"
You turn around to head home. You let out your kindest woof and pick up the mail in your mouth. Your owner and the mailman both look at you. Your owner gives you a small smile and takes the little package from your mouth.
"Oh, sir, I think you dropped this!"
The man looks grateful.
"Good boy, Jupiter! Let's keep going."
You [[continue|Cone]] along your walk.As you walk down the sidewalk something across the street catches your eye. It is a bright orange cone and seems kind of suspicious, and you don't like it in your neighborhood.
[[Go across the street and give it a piece of your mind. It might be a threat to your owner.|Lose5]]
[[Decide to just keep quiet, your owner doesn't look concerned. But, then again, she didn't seem to see it.|Good5]]The cone doesn't seem to be moving, so you decide that it isn't a threat. You look up at your owner as you walk along, hoping for a "Good boy!" She is using her people phone and didn't seem to notice the ordeal, but you still smile knowing that you avoided a mess.
You rub your head on your owner's leg just to remind her that you love her and [[continue|Cone2]] along your walk in silent pride. You take a leap out into the street, barking as you go. You have to show the cone who's boss.
"Woah, Jupiter!"
You feel a sharp tug and you fall back onto the sidewalk.
"You can't just go running into the street! I'm sorry I tugged you, but I was worried! Let's head back home for now. We can try again [[tomorrow.|Home]]"The two of you round the third corner. Your owner looks at you excitedly.
"We've almost made it through the whole walk, Jupiter! See if you can still keep focused!"
She looks back down at her phone, and the two of you keep walking. After you pass a couple more houses you see something in front of you. It's three more orange cones! As you get closer you keep wondering if your owner sees them. It doesn't look like she's looking at the sidewalk.
[[Bark to let your owner know that there's something in her way.|Good6]]
[[Remember that you're not supposed to bark on walks. She probably knows it's there...she IS a people after all.|Lose6]]As you approach the cones you decide that your owner must not have seen them. You let out a concerned couple of barks and dig your heels into the ground. Your owner looks up from her phone in surprise.
You see she saw the cones, because she leads you around the obstruction.
"Good boy, Jupiter! I could have hurt myself! Our [[home|HomeSideWalk]] is just around the corner, so let's go get you a treat!"You realize too late that your owner didn't see the cones, and she stumbles over them and falls to the ground.
"Ow! Oh no, Jupiter, I think I twisted my ankle!"
She is holding her leg and looks in pain. You give her ankle a gentle lick. This seems to make her feel better.
"That's enough walk for today, Jupiter. Maybe [[tomorrow|Home]] we'll make it all the way through."You make your way in past a few trees when suddenly your owner stops you.
"Oh no, Jupiter! Looks like the park is closed for maintenance today!"
You look up to see yellow tape blocking the path and men in funy vests hurriedly walking around.
"Oh well. Let's go home for today. We can go on another walk [[tomorrow.|Home]]"Later you awake on the couch with your head in your owner's lap. She is rubbing your head and gives you a loving grin. Through your treat-induced haze you finally feel like a truely [[GOOD BOY|Title]].
